// about no-kyc
What is a no-KYC crypto exchange?
A no-KYC crypto exchange is a platform that allows you to trade, swap or buy cryptocurrency without requiring identity verification. You don't need to provide a passport, ID, selfie or any personal documents.
Is it legal to use no-KYC crypto exchanges?
In most countries it is legal to use non-custodial exchanges and DEX platforms that don't require KYC. However, laws vary by country. Always check the regulations in your jurisdiction. [NOT]KYC does not provide legal advice.
What is the difference between a DEX and a centralized no-KYC exchange?
A DEX (decentralized exchange) runs on smart contracts with no central operator — no one can freeze your funds or shut it down. A centralized no-KYC exchange is operated by a company but chooses not to require ID. DEXs are generally more private but may have less liquidity.
Can I buy Bitcoin (BTC) without KYC?
Yes. Several services listed on [NOT]KYC allow you to buy or swap Bitcoin without identity verification. Look for exchanges with the NO KYC badge. You can also use P2P platforms to buy BTC with cash anonymously.
How do I swap XMR (Monero) without KYC?
You can swap XMR on no-KYC platforms listed on this site. Simply choose a service, enter your wallet addresses, send the source coin and receive XMR — no account, no ID required. Always check the service rating and reviews before using.
What do the service scores A / B / C / F mean?
A — trusted service: operates without KYC, strong reputation, long history with no incidents.

B — reliable service: generally no KYC, but may occasionally request verification; minor reputation concerns.

C — use with caution: nominally no KYC, but has notable caveats — limits, opaque policies or a questionable history.

F — not recommended: known for scams, data leaks, frozen funds or forced identity verification.
