Introduction

[NOT]KYC is a public directory of cryptocurrency services that operate without identity verification. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

What we do NOT collect

IP addresses are not logged
Cookies are not set or read
Analytics and tracking scripts are not used
Third-party advertising networks are not used
Fingerprinting techniques are not employed

What we store

Accounts: pseudonym, password hash, and PGP public key.
Reviews: text, rating, and pseudonym — public and visible to all.
Session: a token in localStorage, never leaves your device.

User accounts

Registration requires only a pseudonym, password, and PGP public key — no email, phone number, or real identity.

Passwords are stored as SHA-256 hashes and never in plain text. We cannot recover your account if you lose access. There is no password reset. This is intentional.

Your PGP key is used for review verification. It is stored in the database but user profiles are not publicly accessible.

Public content

Reviews and replies submitted on the platform are public and visible to all visitors. They are stored under your pseudonym — not your real identity.

Reviews go through moderation before being published. Replies are published immediately.

Marketing

We do not use your data to send marketing emails or build advertising profiles.

Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

Your choices

You can contact us to request access to or deletion of your account and all associated data. Deleted accounts and their content are permanently removed from our database.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
